Nikon Window Mount

In my recent endeavors trying to find ways to get smooth footage neighborhoods & shopping centers, I found this gem at Sportsman’s Warehouse.

It is technically made to mount a spotting scope onto a car window, but it works great for small cameras.  It is a metal body with rubber/foam pads on the clamp as well as on top of the quick-release baseplate.  It is structurally sound however I have not tried it with my  60d yet.  Here is a sample clip I took today with a flip camera going at about 15 miles/hour.   It can handle faster speeds (I’ve tested up to 30) however everything moves by very fast.

The shots come out great for a $45 gadget, how ever you definitely look and feel like a major creeper cruising through neighborhoods with this.
